IF YOU WANT TO DRINK, THAT’S YOUR BUSINESS.
IF YOU WANT TO STOP, THAT’S OURS.

ANONYMOUS GIFTS OF KINDNESS
As active alcoholics we were always looking for a handout in one way or another.
The challenge of the Seventh Tradition is a personal challenge, reminding me to share and give of myself. Before sobriety the only thing I ever supported was my habit of drinking. Now my efforts are a smile, a kind word, and kindness. I saw that I had to start carrying my own weight and to allow my new friends to walk with me because, through the practice of the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, I've never had it so good.

Our Twelfth Step — carrying the message — is the basic service that the A.A. Fellowship gives; this is our principal aim and the main reason for our existence. Therefore, A.A. is more than a set of principles; it is a society of alcoholics in action. We must carry the message, else we ourselves can wither and those who haven’t been given the truth may die.
In order to stop drinking and stay stopped, we have a few simple suggestions used in A.A.’s program that can work for you as they have worked for countless others. Click here to learn more about the AA program.
SEPIA covers the Southeastern Pennsylvania area, including the city of Philadelphia and the surrounding counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery. Our primary purpose is to carry the message of recovery to the alcoholic who still suffers. If you want to drink, that’s your business; if you want to stop, it’s ours.
